It was unclear what motivated his action, but he threw leaflets espousing anti-government conspiracy theories into the air before the incident.

What anti-govt. conspiracy theories?

Well, his mantra starts with cryptocurrency being designed as an economic nuke in the form of a ponzi scheme and it kind of devolves from there. He sorta brushes with reality a couple times (e.g. that politics is captured by the rich) but it's more out of sheer coincidence than any real points made

cheezus. I hate most cyptocurrency implementations but no ones forcing anyone to interact with that stuff.
