For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.

No flaming, baiting, etc. This community is intended for those opposed to the influx of Elon Musk-related advertising online. Coming here to defend Musk or his companies will not get you banned, but it likely will result in downvotes. Please use the reporting feature if you see a rule violation.

Opinions from all sides of the political spectrum are welcome here. However, we kindly ask that off-topic political discussion be kept to a minimum, so as to focus on the goal of this sub. This community is minimally moderated, so discussion and the power of upvotes/downvotes are allowed, provided lemmy.world rules are not broken.

Post links to instances of obvious Elon Musk fanboy brigading in default subreddits, lemmy/kbin communities/instances, astroturfing from Tesla/SpaceX/etc., or any articles critical of Musk, his ideas, unrealistic promises and timelines, or the working conditions at his companies.

Tesla-specific discussion can be posted here as well as our sister community /c/RealTesla.

Can I introduce you to the much cooler named Dodge Rampage?

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 16 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago) (2 children)

Definitely a better name than Plymouth Scamp.

MY TRUCK HAS THE POWER OF A RAMPAGING RHINO vs. Oh, truck! You scamp! I can't stay mad at you for having a faulty transmission!

Edit: That link led me to a page about the VW SEAT Inca. Look at this thing.

That's a common sort of van in Europe. Another example is the OG fiat fiorino

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 3 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Man, America has all the boring cars. And the one time someone does something different, we end up with the fucking Cybertruck.

[–] Anticorp@lemmy.world 5 points 4 months ago (2 children)

Excuse me, but we did have the El Camino and Dodge Rampage. We also have the Jeep Wrangler.

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 1 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Pff. I'll take a Fiat Fiorino over all of those. That thing looks awesome.

[–] Anticorp@lemmy.world 1 points 4 months ago

It reminds me of this:

[–] Kolanaki@yiffit.net 1 points 4 months ago (1 children)

I used to want a Jeep Wrangler. Then I sat in one. With the seat back as far as it could go, my knees were still jamming into the steering wheel.

[–] Anticorp@lemmy.world 1 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Are you like 7' tall or something?

[–] Kolanaki@yiffit.net 2 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

Almost; 6 and a half.

Need the bigger wrangler. Forgot the model name. The Yukon? E: yeah the Yukon.

VW Seat Inca? Course it is

Also a coffin inca judging by the shape of it.

Amateurs

For real though, I would in un-ironically own any of these but the cyber truck can go ahead and fuck off.

I was expecting that to link to a Subaru Brat tbh the Ranchero feels a lot more normie than the Rampage. I agree though. I wish Utes never left the US market

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 3 points 4 months ago

I love the Brat seats in the back bed, with handles on ‘em, like “Good luck!”

[–] Anticorp@lemmy.world 1 points 4 months ago

Subaru made the Baja too, which was like a sleeker Brat.
