Must be read with american pronunciation or it sounds a little racist.
Every time I get reminded of linguistic racisms stinging out from historical colonialism and modern day anti-immigrant sentiment, I come to the point of cursing those Brit-removeds for pulling this...

Brits pronounce it “Yawg-urt”, replacing the Y with a W makes it sound like it starts with an antiblack slur
