I am liking WBK.

As @wjs018@ani.social says, it's a fight-of-the-week show, but at the same time it's a parody of the delinquent fight-to-the-top genre, where despite his best efforts, the MC gains social stature and rises in the school's very socially respectable delinquent hierarchy. i.e. he's rising in the delinquent hierarchy like he set out to at the beginning, but not in the way that he expected nor wanted to.

It has some nice animation too. The figure animation in the fights is quite good, with action scenes seemingly rotoscoped from kung fu movies, parkour clips, with even 1 or 2 sakuga moments.

And the fighting has less bullshit "My dick is bigger than yours! No, my dick is bigger than yours!, No wait, my dick is bigger than yours!" magic shit like JJK or Naruto. Sure, the "good delinquents" are tougher than anything alive and can take punches that should demolish small houses.

The writing is also decent. Unlike the recent failed delinquent fighting comedy "Bucchigiri?!?" the MC is cool to watch and has a relatable journey as he learns real lessons about leadership and what it really means to be "top delinquent"
