Israel’s military has bombed another United Nations-run school as well as an Israeli-designed “safe-zone” in the Gaza Strip, killing at least 42 Palestinians and wounding dozens of others, according to Palestinian officials.

The Israeli attacks on Tuesday hit the UN’s al-Razi school in the central Nuseirat refugee camp and a main street lined with market stalls in the southern al-Mawasi area, where thousands of displaced Palestinians had sought shelter.

Israel is quite literally erasing an entire race from the face of the earth as we speak, and yet we're not speaking up against it... just to avoid being accused of "antisemitism".

Senfield is one of the many prominent figures labeling the opposition of this genocude"jew hate". It's insane anyone is getting away with this sort of thing.

Now I have one more reason not to watch Seinfeld.

Well, the Jews have been victims of a genocide themselves (I'm sure you know which one, Moustache Man was involved), but it does not justify having them be the perpetrators of another genocide.

"Never again" means never again for everyone, not just Jewish people. It's about time Israel learns this (oh wait, they won't).

how long do you estimate it will take them to wipe them out?

[–] Resol@lemmy.world 4 points 3 months ago (1 children)

It's been 76 years since they started. This could probably go on forever.

Now I don't encourage eternal suffering, but I also don't encourage quickly wiping out an entire race for their own "security".

Yeah they don't seem to be very good at this genocide thing

There was a group that was great at it nearly 100 years ago, and even those guys couldn't get it done in a few months. Properly genocoding a people doesn't happen overnight. Isreal has just been oppressing until recently so the genocide thing is going to take a bit longer.

I see. Or maybe it's not happening at all

[–] FiniteBanjo 1 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Depends on how long people like Netanyahu can cling to power, I suppose.

[–] jimmy90@lemmy.world -2 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Well they seem to be failing specially if they want to wipe them out while Netanyahu is still in charge

They're doing their best. Since the people tracking the death toll have been bombed into the dirt and the majority of residences in the gaza strip have been completely demolished, the actual toll of this conflict is a lot more than the commonly cited 30,000+. In Gaza, 2 Million Palestinians lived in high density, and the Israeli military pushed them into camps near Rafah which they've also started striking.

If the conflict suddenly ends, though, so will Netanyahu's power grab, so he's dragging it out.
