Yeah... You may want to look into prison labor laws, then check incarceration rates in the US. We have slavery with extra steps.

There's a huge difference between us needing major criminal justice reform and her making a career as a chattel slaver. The fact that you even made this leap makes me believe you have no interest in a good faith argument.

I'm just pointing out we enslave prisoners in the US. That's not a "China problem." You can look into recidivism rates while you're there. Calling prisoners chattel slaves isn't as huge a leap as you're making it out to be.

As a prosecutor, Harris has some of that blood on her hands. I hope to hear more about her position on prison reform in the upcoming months.

It's not a stretch to call prison labor chattel slavery. It's the literal definition, the buying and selling of forced labor. Just because it's temporary and isn't obsessively racist doesn't not make it chattel slavery.

That's easy for someone from the settler class to say who's not subject to modern chattel slavery.

Ah yes when you have no response so you just attack and dismiss the other person

Pure projection.

Sorry I didn't respond quickly, was browsing the 100000 online retailers filled with fast fashion produced in sweatshops in the east.

Wow so cheap. Hard to believe all those people earn a living wage and have adequate worker protections.

Yea, we lock up rapists and murderers. Yes there are a lot. I'm sorry society is like that, I'll snap my fingers to change it.
