Doctrine radical, structure neutral. "A sandwich is any food in contact with any bread product"

So a salad served with croutons is a sandwhich?

[-] conditional_soup@lemm.ee 7 points 1 month ago

Yes, and so is a clam chowder bread bowl

Also worth noting that under this rationale:

  • Cannibals see people as food
  • You are a people, and therefore food (terms and conditions apply)
  • When you eat bread, it is in contact with you
  • When you eat a sandwich, you become a sandwich

[-] DoYouNot@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

Is a loaf of bread a bread sandwich then?

[-] conditional_soup@lemm.ee 3 points 1 month ago

Structure radical, doctrine neutral: a sandwich is, at a minimum, bread.

E.g. A baguette is a sandwich
