I'm posting this here because I usually only post music to this website so when I'm depressed or coming off drugs, so it feels nice to have a happy reason for a change. The wedding went great and I got to reconnect with a bunch of old friends. Even got a possible film scoring gig!

4/5 of the groomsmen aren't musicians at all and the one who is just plays a little guitar. So I tried to teach them how the gear worked when they showed interest, but when you're tripping, trying to understand modular synthesizers is basically like learning quantum mechanics. Even my pedalboard was beyond the guitar player. So I just hooked everything up so it would make sounds and let them go to town turning knobs and pressing buttons. I didn't play any instruments myself, I was the instructor.

Once they were having a blast, I realized I could very easily use my portable sampler to collect all their coolest noises. I wasn't planning on making a song out of any of it since it was all in different keys and BPMs, but later on when I couldn't sleep and was still tripping I decided a short song would be a cool memento to remember the trip by. I was 70% sober by this point but also exhausted and had a wedding the next day, so I gave myself a little over an hour to mix their sounds together (with a few samples from packs) and then I could call it a night. I think I did pretty good by that standard.

The visuals are from a Hypno video synth and were also mostly made by my friends randomly turning knobs. All I did was make the final song's drums sync up to the modulation and tweaked one knob to not give me a seizure.
