Hotdogs that come in packages of 6 when buns come in packages of 8 can go to hell.

[–] MisterFrog@lemmy.world 11 points 5 months ago

Guess you're eating 24 hot dogs 👍

Tuna melts on hot dog buns are amazing, just so you know.

Insert a little ADHD and you will eat the cheese by itself when you go to the store and end up buying more cheese and forgetting the chips.

We like to eat pasta with milk here in Finland. Yes, really! Dont judge me, its part our culture! (For real milk is a very common drink with many foods here, at least in the current +30 age group)

The rest of the internet ruined me today and thought you said you like to eat paste with milk in Finland...

[–] iamtrashman1312@lemmy.world 3 points 5 months ago

Paste's apparently good on pizza, maybe it works here too

[–] oxideseven@lemmy.ca 3 points 5 months ago

Mac and cheese is technically pasta with milk :D

My dude no spaghetti dinner in my house in the USA is complete without a tall glass of milk.

All pasta deserves a glass of milk IMO.

I thought you were talking about "makaronivelli" before you specified the milk was for drinking.

Pitää kokeilla sitä nyt sitten ihan periaatteesta joku päivä. Lapsuusnostalgiaa vai irvistelyä, jää nähtäväksi.

[–] MrZweihander@lemmynsfw.com 11 points 5 months ago

I do exactly this with chips and salsa.

Isn't he the "attending an anti abortion rally is a private spiritual belief" guy?

[–] noodlejetski@lemm.ee 4 points 5 months ago

oh god, oh no

Hey!!! That reminds of certain products shitty companies make to force you by not wanting to waste things to get more.

Like how there's a fucking odd number of slices in bread.

[–] jettrscga@lemmy.world 4 points 5 months ago* (last edited 5 months ago)

The bread I get has an even number of slices, but I agree that hot dogs and buns do this.

Adults actually have milk and cookies in the US?

[–] prettybunnys@sh.itjust.works 26 points 5 months ago

… do you all not have milk and cookies outside of the US?

Cuz I gotta tell you it’s the tits

[–] Anyolduser@lemmynsfw.com 20 points 5 months ago

What sad fucking place do adults not have milk and cookies?

[–] lurch@sh.itjust.works 20 points 5 months ago

Don't be silly. Adults only eat potatos /s

[–] slackassassin@sh.itjust.works 8 points 5 months ago

Sure, adults do all kinds of fun stuff in the US.

[–] twinnie@feddit.uk -1 points 5 months ago (2 children)

I thought that too. I’ve tried it and it isn’t that good.

Right? I mean, if your parents won’t let you have coffee, by all means get milk. But other than that…. Yuck.
