This is some much needed good news. I hate that for every 10 posts of the world going to shit, there’s one that says maybe we’ll be ok
If it bleeds, it leads. Good news is a hard sell because it doesn't get eyeballs but there's good news around us every day!
I've been watching youtube videos about this lately. The trees shade smaller plants and between them their roots wick water down into the water table. As a result, dry seasons get milder and erosion reduces.
