Sometimes you just have to make the most of it when you're caught in a downpour without an umbrella. The newly fledged Great Horned Owlet 'singing" in the rain.

That's eerie similar to what I looked like when I drank my coffee this morning. Thanks for another cool owl pic!

We mention coffee a lot here, and since I was in my kitchen when I got your comment, I took a pic of my grinder.

The lid of the grinder is the same color as the hopper, and I don't leave beans in there as I keep them in something airtight. I didn't trust myself first thing in the morning to be sure the lid was off before trying to dump in the beans, so I printed up this owl design made of coffee beans to put inside the cover so I could see the lid was still on.

The eyes are cups of coffee, and the rest is beans. I think this is the original image. I removed the loose brand and added the border and text.

Haha, that's awesome and so on par for you! (I just know you from the cool owl post and trivia)

I'm glad you like it! Combining art and function is cool. I forget it's there half the time now, as it's function is mainly just to be something opaque when I'm half conscious, but it does make me smile when I do notice it again after a while

It does take a good bit of energy to go from infant to adult in about 6 weeks! 😁
