It’s probably best that there is no link to social media on a game console.
At this point, an integration with x/twitter seems really odd.
It's actually amazing how much Musk managed to squander Twitter's brand value in only two years. He's really done everything wrong from a PR perspective.
I don't believe he really cares about Twitter anymore.
It's filled with Nazis to whom he's constantly anti-virtue signaling, to which they respond by telling him how beautiful and amazing he is, so of course he cares

I had to come to the comments to figure out what X was supposed to mean. I legitimately forgot about Xitter for a moment. It was nice.
I thought it was some sort of emulation engine that I hadn't heard about.

I didn't know that the Switch had Twitter integration.
It was the only way to get screenshots off the console without physically using the SD card. I had an account just for Animal Crossing screenshots.
Same with PlayStation; a lot of people had accounts just for getting screenshots they had taken off the console.
I'm glad they finally added directly beaming them to your smartphone.
Well, directly is a stretch. But at least the direct WiFi method means I didn't have to use a throwaway twitter account anymore to transfer my screenshots and video captures without removing the SD card.
