All we know is that the Eglinton LRT will not open for another three months, every day that Metrolinx does not give a defined opening date.

Phil Verster ruined Scotrail, then Metrolinx was like "that's the guy we want"

fuck me they can't even fix the escalators or washrooms at union station, I don't have much hope of the LRT opening before I die and I'm only 40.

No real testing= no opening date. Phil Verster is just blowing hot air. He would do better telling us when Finch is opening.

Between line 3 just closing abruptly due to lack of maintenance, the Ontario Science Center closing abruptly due to lack of maintenance, Amsterdam Bridge along the waterfront closing due to lack of maintenance. I would not be supprised if Humber Bay Pedestrian Bridge is the next to go, its not been maintained in ages and looks close to end of life.

I think i see a pattern forming in Ontario in general. Ellington won't open anytime soon but most stations already look like they are lacking some maintenance as well.

If there's one thing this Province and City excel at it's putting off maintenance for future generations. You just listed a handful of examples but there are so many more. Trees in parks is another one, Garbage cans that need to be redesigned/replaced every few years due to lack of maintenance. There's a ton more.
