An intriguing prototype with a lot of rough edges.

It’s notable that commercial jets have this sort of thing but it limited to a small panel that you can look around.

As long as it's not distracting & disturbing for the driver i support this, bc sometimes it's annoying to see infotainment system

Absolutely. Having things like the fuel gauge & speedometer within my field of view as I'm driving means I don't have to look down / away from the road to check.

HUDs are something I thought would be gimmicky but it’s actually really useful. Eg. for navigation it can show you where/when your next turn is without having to take your eyes off the road. It works really well in my experience.

Some C level: what if we made it show ads for business physically around them?

Would I give up my car free lifestyle for windshield augmented reality that makes it look like I've got Mad Max as a crucified hood ornament? No, but it's an excellent try.

Looks interesting, but it will probably need to be way brighter for daytime use.

Eye tracking is a no-go for anywhere with bright snow in the winter time where you need sunglasses, or in the summertime and need sunglasses.

I could see it being useful someday.

Why bother with a HUD when there are already transparent screens?

Will those screens fail safe? If the hud fails it can be turned off and the windshield is unobstructed.

Seems like a much more expensive method compared to a simple projector. Also, a screen would still display a HUD. A HUD isn't a technology, it's just a means of displaying information.
