Gotta add the lack of movies coming out this year to compete against certainly isn't hurting.
Super interesting. I think there was a lot of interest from young 20-somethings that really pushed this movie like crazy. Makes sense considering they were probably the perfect age for the original.
Also probably helps that there aren't a lot of well marketed "kids movies" this summer break for parents to take them to.
Went in not expecting much, wasn’t disappointed.
