A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.

For the snails: a guy in the crowd at a trump rally got struck by a bullet

Crowd Strike is the name of a security companies that pushed a bad update today.

But it could also be a way to describe the assassination attempt.

Not really. Unless someone shot into the crowd. Or a bunch of people from the crowd shot someone.

It's kind of a stretch but the shots were into a crowd. One died.

Technically it was last Saturday, but that's within the last 7 days, so it's a week, just not the current calendar or business week.

Some countries, including where the assassination attempt took place, start their calendar weeks on Sunday.
