Poor people aren't buying Pixels and taking them on off-the-grid expeditions.
They better not, else they wanna die
I did buy a Pixel 4a but I guess they were generally cheaper at that time and it was already the old model at the time.
However, satellite connectivity features require specialized hardware, and to the best of our current knowledge, older Pixels lack the requisite hardware to support the feature.
well, and SpaceX Starlink's Direct to Cell which isn't too far away!
Ok, I’m sure they will go live any day now.
