Republicans don't care about justice and right and wrong. In Alabama the Supreme Court told republicans that the African American population needed more representation with how the congressional maps were drawn. But republicans said no, we are going to ignore that and do it in our favor anyway.

Stop voting for republicans, they don't care about justice or democracy.

It is an election year for the Mississippi AG. The citizens of the state should vote accordingly.

I expect that election shenanigans are precisely what this is all about. We've got a serious bootlicker problem down here, and a move like this is likely to earn more votes.

White cop, black victim , white Republican AG.

Imho, unless POTUS can ensure racial justice in all states, the monuments they put up will just be pigeon poop stations.

Yep. Headline should read "extraordinarily predictable."

DoJ or POTUS or someone needs to step up and prevent this miscarriage of justice. No such hope from SCOTUS.

He is "Nothing will fundamentally change" Biden.

I hope I'm wrong, but pigeon poop station is the primary job of that statue.

What should Biden do here? Personally and unconstitutionally remove a state AG from office? Rile up an angry mob to threaten the AG until they resign? Certainly things Trump would try to do, and our democracy doesn't need more of that behavior.

ACAB and that includes the AG
