I would love to see more games that support a mix of player capabilities. Like how in Child of Light a second player can do supporting, fun, low stakes stuff alongside the main game. My kid loves to play with me, but 6 year olds are bad at games.

it was really cool that you could pick up the controller and fart around with Tails in the old Sonic the Hedgehog games.
I'm gonna call it "serious-frivolous asymmetric gameplay" until someone more knowledgeable comes along to correct me.
Hey, less knowledgeable person here, SFAG sounds great to me!
...Maybe we'll stick with "SFA". You know, for brevity's sake.
Back when I was young and played on a console, Tails was essential to beat most bosses, since the little fox "didn't count" for losing rings or a life
I’d love more couch co-options. I typically play single player, won’t touch online play, but playing with a person I actually know is great.
Im cool with that, Stardew Valley is the only game ive ever gotten the wife to play with me when it was co-op
Couch co-op on PC is great if you have a laptop and some controllers. Bam, better console than most consoles thanks to emulation (any potato will run up to PSX nowadays), but also games like EDF 4 or 5, Broforce, Assault Android Cactus, Human Fall Flat, Party Animals, Overcooked and a bunch of others
Just make sure to use "Game mode" if you have a "smart" tv, though visual lag might still be a hassle (from my limited experience, LG smart tvs will always have at least 100ms of lag, even in game mode and all image processing features turned off)
Co-op is the best!
