Digital neo feudalism is an attack on democracy too. This is not just some minor issue. Autonomy is a fundamental tenant of democracy. Ownership over your tools is a critical part of citizenship. These are direct attacks on your citizenship. Legalizing this criminal behavior sets the precedent that will eventually erode every part of democracy. Trump may be obvious, but neo digital feudalism is just as potent in the long run. The subscription theft of autonomy must be stopped.
