Hey, I like him! He may be ill-tempered and violent, but he has a big heart <3

I think people don't really get who he is, he's supposed to be a kindhearted asshole basically someone who does the right thing in the wrong way.

I love the comic, just so it's clear :)

Flaws and all, it's an amazing slice of not only history, but humanity as a whole. And it can be hilarious at times

I'm enjoying the comics :)
And everything he does, he does to the extreme

I rarely see people hate on him.

There have been a few comics lately that showed that we've come a long way in the last 100 years (almost put 1000, the comics ain't that old) with outdated things like talking shit about the way someone is dressed or throwing a dog out the window. I wouldn't call it hate, but a few people vocally didn't like what he was doing.

I think the whole thing is fascinating and I find myself agreeing with him more often than not. No, I'm not going to insult the way someone is dressed, and if there's a poorly trained animal acting a fucking fool I'm going to throw the owner out of the train car instead of the dog, but on the whole I think he's more right than wrong. He just needs to stop most of the violence.

I do think it's nice that he's never abusive to women, though. They were using spousal abuse as a comedy device half a century later on television.

This comment got away from me. I'm going to go put my ADHD to use somewhere.
