It was more active in the past but died out due to too few people, as is the case with many small Lemmy communities alas.

Yeah, communities need to grow organically. Reddit was large enough for communities to split off into more specialized sub communities but some of those need to be reconsolidated on Lemmy.

This is a good place to link to the QAA podcast with an ep about a book about the people harmed by Qanon, as in family of believers. It's pretty sad, but there's one story of redemption. Maybe Bert should listen.
