Society is very natural, OUR current model of society is sadly not

Not quite. Humans evolved to exist in small hunter-gatherer groups, which I would not consider societies. Curiously, these were very egalitarian and people only worked for about 20 hours a week, and the varied lifestyle and diet was optimal for our health. It is really with society that all our problems started
Edit: spelling and clarification
I think the disagreement here is in definitions, whether hunter gatherer groups are a society.
Fair point. My mother tongues have slightly different definitions for their words for "society"
but they didn't have iphones
Just because something is construced/man made doesn't mean it isn't real
This was one of the first posts that made me sign up for Reddit some 10+ years ago. Now I've been on Lemmy for a week and I see it again for the first time since.
I'm choosing to take it as a good sign.
At least it's not a super duper repost.
Yet the hunger in my belly is all too real
I've been reading that rich people are delicious, and best thing is you can just eat them! No money required!
Great for the planet too
But the good news is it will implode first!
It actually won't explode, just implode. The process of becoming a red giant is quite gradual even by cosmological standards, taking about a billion years.
I'd always kind of assumed the sun would hit some point of not having enough fuel to sustain the fusion reactions and everything going to hell pretty quickly, but I suppose it does make sense that it's a slow process.
He ain't lying
Come ooon micronova!
