There is no iron law that dictates that a rising power will inevitably seek hegemony.

Important to note this because the crackerverse's perception of China's rise in prosperity is painted by its own foundational pillars of colonialism, settlerism, slave trade and imperialism. The claims of genocide and imperialism targeted at China are as such pure projection laced with copium and hypocrisy. Unfortunately, the west is completely unrepentant about their emphatic role in orchestrating most of the world's misery. Any programme of shared future will be an anathema to them.

People have a hard time stepping out of their own culture, so western views of China are necessarily rooted in projection.

Propaganda is everywhere

As long as the guy above desires to live united in diversity, harmoniously with people who desire a different utopia, if he's not the stereotypical monster that we commonly depict our enemies to be, then they/we should be allowed to, i believe in the city of God, just as i believe in communism, and i don't see a fourth path emerging but i sure hope that there will be more.
