Helpful. Even though it’s written for other people to do with their alien, I think I can swing this into how I treat and talk to myself during focused tasks.

Positive self-talk is very important. Praise yourself when you're on-task and forgive yourself when you're off-task. You're allowed to waver back and forth.

I was reading this in between talking to my kid about bedtime just a few seconds ago and I've had unprecedented success with bedtime tasks. Thanks
