Nope. That’s just pushing people to buy illegally.
What is the reasoning behind this? What is the issue with just checking IDs like they do now?
To protect the children, or that is the guise of it.
I could give you a ten page dissertation on the abusive overreach and authoritarian antics of the WSLCB. They have gotten better over the last several years post COVID, but they are still a fundamentally corrupt institution that only cares about exerting power and control over anything they get their hands on. This is just one more in a long line if examples I could give where they subterfugely push bad ideas in an attempt to exert and expand the mandate of their authority.
Well, that is a good way to get people to stop drinking or using cannabis.
But as a Washingtonian, I'm pretty confident this would never, ever pass.
