For images where the text reads correctly left to right, but visual cues (like colouration, vertical proximity, or horizontal separation) lead you to try to read it top to bottom.

This is similar to, but distinct from, the more widely known “DontDeadOpenInside” format. In that case, the text reads correctly top to bottom, but visual cues (like colouration, horizontal proximity, or vertical separation) lead you to try to read it left to right.

"Brave the afraid" 100% sounds like something I'd find on a t-shirt here in Japan.

I've had a bit of a time trying to explain the difference between 'scary' and 'afraid' to my wife.

"AFRIAD". Did they make a typo while handwriting?

[–] sbv@sh.itjust.works 7 points 2 months ago

A "hando" if you will.

A typo is when you slip up and type/get something wrong because you're moving too fast to pay attention.

Spelling a word wrong because you don't know how to spell it isn't a typo. This person doesn't strike me as an intellectual that knows complex spellings like "afraid"

I intended to joke.

Reminds me of when you let autocomplete create a sentence for you.
