I think this is getting downvoted by people unaware that 1488 is a white supremacist symbol.
It seems like almost anything can be some sort of coded message for the racist fuckheads.
Stop trying to co-opt normal things, ya bunch of losers.
- 14.88 is a weird price. Usually it’s 14.99
- How much do you have to follow white supremacists to know that’s a symbol? Because I sure as hell didn’t know what it was
- that’s why we know it’s a dog whistle and not a coincidence
- 1488 is one of the more well-known ones insofar as it is used as an example of a dog whistle when explaining the concept more in-depth
How can it be anything other than a dog whistle, it's been annoying me for weeks seeing these.
