I'm pretty sure you have that exactly backwards, ironically...

If you avoid 100% of information by for example being dead this does work.

noitamrofni diova ot si noitamrofnisim diova ot yaw tseb ehT

Doesn’t seem any better to me tbh

The best way to avoid information is to avoid misinformation? Maybe you meant something else.

Edit:

Am I missing something?

The best herd immunity against misinformation is everyone has access to good free education and develops analytical minds averse to bullshit. They aren't attacking public education for no reason. Divided with misinformation, we are conquered.

I agree. I also have my own pet agenda. I think people need more time to process. Our mind is taxed constantly and we are trying to squeeze everybit of life in the 2-3 hours before we have to go back to work. If people could chill for some exteneded period of time. Feel stable for a some extended period of time. They would not be so panicked all the time and be less prone to being irrational.

The best herd immunity against misinformation is a culture of fucking with one another.

The best way to avoid pollution is to not breathe.

I'm ok with this, it highlights the same exact thing. To avoid air pollution you would have to stop breathing because all air is polluted.

Radical disinformation is death, because matter itself already is information.

Try to make breakfast without encountering information.

This is hyperliteral, but ok. In this case we are talking about the information from our senses. Well, our senses fail us all the time. Ever misread a word? Ever mishear instructions? Cross your index and middle finger then run the tips of those fingers down the bridge of your nose. Done correctly you will feel two noses.

True, just corner yourself into an echo chamber so far that you loose all reference points for what is and isn't true. A little filtering is good, all filter no water is bad.

Sorry you thought I was being prescriptive. Oh well.

Even taken literally, my comment stands.
