Capitalism sucks and is a funnel from the consumer class to the owner class. Even in a union, this is largely still true.

That said, it is still legal to start a business. So there's at least that option.

Even the trust fund kids live paycheck to paycheck. Too many adult children I know that work a 9-5 that make $100k/yr all spend like they’re dying tomorrow while ignoring their duties as a human being.

They call them whales right?

Can you elaborate? If they are spending it on mobile games (I guess that's what you mean by whales), they are just sick with companies preying on their sickness.

If you could sell mucus for money, companies would be infecting people with COVID.
