Capitalism sucks and is a funnel from the consumer class to the owner class. Even in a union, this is largely still true.

That said, it is still legal to start a business. So there's at least that option.

Well, there's that, but can you compete with big business? Maybe in some sectors, but it's becoming harder and harder.
