So im in SoTO and im trying to finish the expansion and start JW to catch up with everything and the constant "Do events/rifts" every other step is really annoying.

We have gone from instanced content or story taking part in the world to "Yea lets get these guys doing the meta against their will to pad things out".

Im literally being asked to do adventures in Nayos before the final battle.....I don't want to be doing adventures, I want to finish the boss.

Map clearing used to be optional, now its pretty much forced aside from a few points of interest you miss due to story instanced ones or they are a bit out the way.
