Our state is not perfect, but it feels like a country more than a state at times. We try to deal with our problems and are willing to experiment with novel solutions. It makes sense to defend our little laboratory here against willful punishment from vindictive dictators.

I honestly miss it. How about SB699, any non-competes that are legal outside of CA are instant trash if a worker wants to come do their thing in CA.

This is the peek of blue sky amongst the clouds I’ve wanted to see! ALL free thinking states need to do this. We have two months to shore up our defenses. I’m hoping to see this type of thing a lot in the coming weeks.
