A liberal by my simple definition is someone who doesn't recognize class at any meaningful level, which inevitably translates dictatorship of the bourgeois since wealth and capital will naturally translate to political power without a dictatorship of the proletariat in place to counter it. A fascist likewise does recognize class dynamics, but thinks it's a good thing that certain minorities and sections of society are being exploited.
