If approved, AOH1996 could be used in combination with existing therapies to both enhance cancer-killing effects and decrease side effects

That sounds intensely promising. The combination of no toxicity to normal cells plus being effective against multiple cancer types sounds wonderful.

Here's hoping those human trials go well, it'd sure be nice to have a new medicine in our arsenal to help stomp out some cancers.
