ALLEGEDLY see this face

[–] Addfwyn@lemmygrad.ml 16 points 7 months ago

I get this is literally the memes community, but I have a feeling this guy is innocent and is just going to get scapegoated and railroaded because the authorities need a win on this case. So I am not the biggest fan of latching on to him as the hero of the assassination unless we definitely know it is him, which does not appear to be the case.

Private security firms across the country must be salivating though, CEOs not going to step foot outside without a dozen armed guards.

I've seen so many people thirsting over him already lmao

[–] Red_Scare@lemmygrad.ml 15 points 7 months ago

So you see, that's where the trouble began.

Why does he have 3 eyes, is this an enlightenment thing

[–] Rasm635u@lemmygrad.ml 6 points 7 months ago (1 children)

I have no idea who that is/srs.

[–] DankZedong@lemmygrad.ml 4 points 7 months ago (1 children)

It is supposedly the main suspect in the fatal shooting of a CEO in NY the other day. Though police seem to be rather clueless so maybe it's not the guy.

[–] knightly@hexbear.net 9 points 7 months ago

Doesn't look like anything to me.

[–] Hestia@hexbear.net 6 points 7 months ago (2 children)

Why do people keep pretending this is him? There has been no name given yet, its just some guy in a hoodie (that isn't even the same color)

I get you're all a bunch of thirsty fucks who fantasize about sleeping with the killer but like, don't latch on to some random hottie?

[–] DankZedong@lemmygrad.ml 14 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Interesting projection you got there 💁🏼

Anyway maybe people latch on to this person because he is literally on the police radar. It's a joke, calm down.

Maybe we shouldn't go along with the police narrative (even as a joke) when they are actively searching for someone to use as a scapegoat and murder.

Catching a scapegoat would be the single most self-humiliating thing the police could do. First they let a member of the bourgeois get killed, and then all they can do is catch an innocent person? There is no way that wouldn’t blow up in the system’s face in utterly comical proportions.

Other capitalists would be livid.

[–] Hestia@hexbear.net 10 points 7 months ago

It wouldn't be the first time the system's killed a completely innocent man. Someone will die. If they can't track down who did it, they'll find someone else.

Those are not mutually exclusive
