If I had to spend that much time immersed in the fucked up universe that movie is set in, I'd want to avoid doing more of the same too.

Theres a short list of horror that sticks in my craw years later and Midsommar is one of them. Something about the villages way of life is so alien but in a way that's totally plausible for an isolated group somewhere to believe.

Because villages have, in fact, done it before.

Respect to her for coming out of that role with a clear perspective. The whiplash to Little Women sounds really rough. Such good performances from her in both too.
