Did they correct for the amount of money left after paying rent or is this just replicating the well-known finding that wealth is correlated with lifespan?

I'm also wondering about age since retired people living off of pensions/savings have lower income and also a higher risk of dying just because they're older.

Yea, probably why some people are staying with parents. With rent that high, I might as well just end my life and be free from this shit.
