How do you have something that hasn't even launched yet?
As answered by Hank, I got it via the kickstarter.
I’m very happy with it as it perfectly complements an ultra wide screen.
As for similarities, from what I’ve seen it is basically the same thing except that Corsair added some Icue stuff and magnets to it.
There was a Kickstarter a few years ago for the sec dec. Supporters likely got early iterations by now. The full release of the sec-dec isn't out yet.
Sec-dec seems to be a similar device to Corsair's xenon edge. But I'm not sure how similar.
Is there anything special about it or is it just a second smaller monitor?
It’s just a second smaller monitor, tactile tho if you need that.
It’s a good size and format to go under an ultra wide monitor. Mostly used for discord or teamspeak during gaming sessions as I’m very bad at recognizing my teammates voices…
Or as an EFB (electronic flight bag) with flight plans, maps, procedures etc during flight simulation.
