And a chocolate starfish

The most unbelievable part of this image is that they're only 120 calories.

.....wonder what the caffeine content is.

What kind of sugars are so low in calories that you can add 20g of them but end up with just 120 (kilo)calories?

[–] Sterile_Technique@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Sucralose.

If you added however many grams of regular sucrose adds up to 120 calories, then the rest of the 20 grams as sucralose, technically you could make it work.

[–] red@feddit.de 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Does sucralose count towards "sugars"?

[–] Sterile_Technique@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Legally / nutrition labelly, no. But it is a sugar, just not one we can digest.

[–] XTornado@lemmy.ml 12 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Oh so those are the dogs that were let out.

[–] Zucca@sopuli.xyz 3 points 1 year ago

Seems to me that someone caught the dogs and wrapped in Mountain Dew ads.

[–] Hupf@feddit.de 12 points 1 year ago (1 children)

"except those naturally occurring in mountain dew"

[–] Impulsivedoorholder@reddthat.com 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Ah yes, the vast fields of from the mountain Dew. There cans of Dew occur naturally.

[–] db2@sopuli.xyz 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

It's what happens when you water your hot dog tree with mountain dew.

[–] Banik2008@infosec.pub 6 points 1 year ago

It's what hot dogs crave.

I'm holding out for Baja Brats.

[–] MiddleWeigh@lemmy.world 8 points 1 year ago

This is what happens when you eat too many freeze pops.

[–] fresh@sh.itjust.works 8 points 1 year ago (1 children)

This might be a dumb question, but is this real?

[–] reallynotnick@lemmy.world 13 points 1 year ago (1 children)

No it's not real (had to look it up myself a week or two ago)

[–] fresh@sh.itjust.works 12 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I thought it wasn’t, but dumber things exist so I had the slightest uncertainty.

[–] raltoid@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Having seen recipes for mtn dew marinated chicken and kool-aid pickles, yeah I'd have to check too.

[–] sbexpert@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

What's the recipe for kool-aid pickles? That sounds similar to a jar of pickles I bought at a farmer's market last year. They were cherry pickles and were surprisingly good, but I haven't been able to find them again.

One of these a day keeps the doctor away... But keep the coroner on speed dial.

[–] worfamerryman@beehaw.org 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Well sadly the world is at a point where I have no idea if this is real or not.

[–] Blastasaurus@lemm.ee 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

More American than a monster truck jumping over 100 bald eagles on the 4th of July.

[–] worfamerryman@beehaw.org 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Sir you have been reported to the authorities.

You did not indicate the excessive use of Budweiser in your comment about American culture.

[–] Potato_in_my_anus@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

Don't look too appetizing.

[–] Tenthrow@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

And this isn’t an obvious plant?

What are we looking at here?

[–] Skull@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 year ago

I tried adding the comment: "Interesting little spots, I'd be unable to distinguish between meat products or mold."

So when do we get Flaming Hot flavored hot dogs? Because there's Flaming Hot everything else.

Surprisingly low calories...

Don't do drugs.
Or you'll end up with a job in the US food industry.
