Nepotism(hiring unqualified friends and family) is far more rampant and way more destructive than DEI policies ever could be. DEI policies may help unqualified people gain low level positions, but with nepotism it's usually high level positions.

For those keeping score, in his journey to fuhrer, you can mark this spot on your "classification of people Trump will put in camps" bingo card.

Magically, for 16 years none of these issues resulted in this outcome

Amazes me that after the initial COVID response and just his entire public life, that anyone seems surprised that Trump is not the kind of person that should be making speeches about somber and serious subjects.

Let alone be in charge of the response to them, but that ship has sailed.

I agree that it is the fault of people with severe intellectual disabilities, psychiatric problems, or other mental and physical conditions...namely Donald J. Trump and Elon Musk both of whom are donkey-brained narcissists that have untold amounts of health problems including ketamine addiction, incontinence, HGH chest, and anhedonia.

He's talking about himself, isn't Trump?

[–] specterspectre@lemmy.world 5 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Yeah, refuting an argument by saying "other stuff is at fault" is the work of a true well educated and informed intellectual.

Has anybody checked to see if the spray tan he uses is known to cause brain damage?

[–] TokenBoomer@lemmy.world 13 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago)

He’s projecting again

[–] ironhydroxide@sh.itjust.works 10 points 6 days ago

Well he's not wrong.

He's technically a public servant (worker) and his actions likely caused problems with ATC/FAA.

[–] DrFistington@lemmy.world 8 points 6 days ago

This is 10000% on Trump and Musk. I give them 30 days of they stay in the country
