Eh, MP count means very very little in this modern world of computational smartphone photography. My Nokia XR21 (2024) was $400 brand new and has a 50MP sensor but it's photos are comparable to a 12mp pixel 4 (2019). Processing and optics are everything.

Will probably be a great phone regardless

I really wish it would meet the requirements for GOS. It'd be nice to have one more option other than pixels.

I have a 2a. You can't do GOS but you can mostly DeGoogle it

I love my Nothing 2. I was a 1+ fan boy until the 8 Pro and the switch to Color OS, and I can't say enough good stuff about it. It runs well, it's pretty light Android skin. I don't use the glyphs, but it's just a really solid phone. Battery on it is great, I don't do much with pictures. I will definitely be sticking with this brand moving forward if trajectory remains similar.

Current battery stats.

I've had mine a little over a year and still love it. Just got android 15 in January though my battery is starting to feel it a bit, won't last over a day on an 80% charge but that's still plenty. Love the OS and I use the glyphs quite a lot.
