People bitch about shit being woke, but bad writing and souless corpo rubber stamped bullshit have been around for much longer than any current trends we argue about right now.
Is this strictly millennial? Because I grew up with these already around as a millennial. I'm not claiming it stopped or anything, just that it's more of an industry thing.

The main characters aren't left and the villains aren't right; it's just that leftists are generally decent people and the right is actually, no hyperbole, nazis.
TL;DR Anon is finally in the 'telling kids to get off his lawn (nobody touches grass around here)' part of its lifecycle
Huh, just got done watching "The Free State of Jones" and that checks all these boxes.
I doubt OP'd hold it against that film, though.
