It’s so messed up they’ve kept her body hidden for so long. Why not just release her if they were ready last autumn. What’s the point of dragging it out. Feels like they’re trying to control the naritive somehow, but what exactly are they trying to hide?

If you let the body decay sufficiently, it gets a lot harder to prove how she died or what happened to her while she was still alive.

With countries like Russia you assume foul play until otherwise proven.

Though, too many countries don't seem to care enough when stuff like this happens.
