A place for the discussion and sharing of Elian works, both original and found elsewhere.

What is Elianscript? It’s an alternative writing system whose properties combine the linearity of spelling with the free-form nature of drawing.

It’s also kind of like a weak cipher, to those not in the know. Similar to a pigpen cipher, but instead of randomly jumbling the letters, we all agree to do it alphabetically. That way everyone IN the know, can read it.

Full instructions can be found here.

What about numbers? In this community we prefer to use Arabic numbers. Using other systems is fine so long as you post an explanation of how to translate them.

There was a somewhat active community on Reddit, but no alternative here. So I made it!

Feel free to post whatever Elian related material you choose! I'm gonna try to be at least semi active here.

I'm still working on rules, but for now the biggest rule is that any guesses or decoding of the elianscript in question, should be spoiler tagged. And since that doesn't work on some clients yet, you should also lead the spoiler with several returns, like this:

That way people who want to discuss hints about decoding, can do so safely without accidentally spoiling it.

Thanks! Have fun!

Hey that's neat. I think I saw this back on reddit.

Gonna give it a try.
