What is geoscience?

Geoscience (also called Earth Science) is the study of Earth. Geoscience includes so much more than rocks and volcanoes, it studies the processes that form and shape Earth's surface, the natural resources we use, and how water and ecosystems are interconnected. Geoscience uses tools and techniques from other science fields as well, such as chemistry, physics, biology, and math! Read more...

Tangential: https://www.discovermagazine.com/the-sciences/louisiana-swamplands-mired-in-anti-evolutionism

Do you think the scientific theory of evolution is well supported by evidence and widely accepted within the scientific community, or that it is not well supported by evidence and many scientists have serious doubts about it?

40.3 % said evolution was not well supported by evidence; 20.9% did not know. Only 38.8% could respond accurately concerning the standing of evolution within the scientific arena.

As a high school biology teacher in Louisiana I really feel the pain of that survey. My district spends a lot of time on evolution, but it only goes so far with the kids if their parents are against it.

Published yesterday. LiveScience don't give a crap about Trump's EO and I respect that.

A photoshopped stock image of a rock hitting the north pole of modern earth? Is that adding anything of value to the article?
