Hi, According to https://www.kcsoftwares.com/?sumo, their services are going to end tomorrow. Is there any alternative to it that functions in the same way? WingetUI works, but it cannot find all my installed apps outside of Microsoft Store,

Not sure it's exactly the same or what you want, but chocolateyGUI is decent: https://docs.chocolatey.org/en-us/chocolatey-gui/

Winget is much better if you're on W10/11, and it's built in.

It's hard enough to find a good alternative, let alone a FOSS one... So sad to see KC and SUMO go...

Yup, that's true. Wonder what happened to them that led to this decision.

Keeping a database of all the software versions without the collaboration of the developers is a massive task, they need to scrape thousands of pages and check that the page structure didn't change to much over time

If nobody pays for the pro version, they can't keep doing that

I believe (might be wrong!) there was literally one guy working on it so anything in their personal situation could be the reason

Damn. Didn't know that.

Winget?

I manage all updates with that and I didn't install anything from the Microsoft store

It's unable to detect some apps which I installed outside of Microsoft Store.

Maybe they're just missing from the database?

Try with Winget search yourappname
