I can't build more Lego sets because I've run out of space to put them when they're done. Waiting on getting more shelving.

feeling bored lol
Have you tried this website called Lemmy? It's pretty good
I have to go to the other bunnings 15 mins away as opposed to the one 5 mins away to pick up some panels for shelving
I've become allergic to Veet hair removal cream. Worked like a charm the first two times with no irritation/rash, third time was not the charm because now I still have slight rash over my arms & legs :x
Have to wait a few days after shaving before I can safely wax my legs. Really hate the feeling of the little hair follicles rubbing against my pants before I rip them out.
First world country becoming a third world country. USA.
(gestures vaguely:) I'm American...
But the question was about first world....
Sorry for what you're going mate but I couldn't help making the joke
You really do have my sympathy
I'm sorry we have become the burden the world has to deal with right now.
I have so many games but can't decide what to play so I am instead not playing anything and just scrolling Lemmy. 😮💨
Have you checked out MH Wilds yet? It’s super fun
I literally only just got Rise because it was super cheap, not knowing that Wilds was releasing like a day later. I even looked up "what is the newest MH" before I paid for Rise because I wanted to know where in the series it was lol
I haven't played a MH since PS2 so I don't exactly mind missing out on the actual newest title to play the previous title. 🤷🏻♂️
Dude Rise fucking rocks! You’ll get people who don’t like it but it’s the game in the series that finally clicked for me. You have a bunch of cool movement options, it introduced a mount companion, and all the weapons got quality of life upgrades that to me just made it so damn fun.
Even if it is the “old” one now I’d totally recommend it!!
Oh yeah. The first thing I noticed was the QOL stuff. Last one I played, you actually had to hunt down the big monsters and while fun the first time through a map, it was kinda tedious when you're just trying to farm mats and literally already know where it's gonna be, but still have to go through the motions to trigger an actual fight. Being able to just see them on the map and go straight to them is nice.
Haha yep the paintball system was super annoying!
Btw I was just skimming through my steam library and came here to give you one more suggestion: Windblown. It’s by the devs behind Dead Cells but this game has a totally different art style and it’s top down instead of side scrolling. The combat is FANTASTIC with a heavy reliance on one of the most satisfying dodges ever. Big recommendation!
Keeping ducks out of my pool.
Also there's a certain fork my partner hates using but refuses to get rid of.
My father has gone against my grandparents wishes and isn't sharing the inheritance with his children.
Oh gawd. Is he a good dad in general?
no
Not surprised but I'm sorry
It was the nail in the coffin of our relationship. I've stopped answering his calls and am just done with him. So in a way its a blessing.
I get that totally some people are toxic
Our Senior sysadmin is on vacation, and on Wednesday, our licenses for both our email filtering system and our firewall run out.
I was tasked with getting the replacement systems set up, but due to miscommunication and other issues, I didn't have enough time for a proper test run.
So we're going to flip the switch and hope we are still able to log in and receive mail afterwards.
Cause if we aren't, we're forced to pay 30k € for a license renewal after already purchasing the replacements.
This has lead to a resurgence of my ADHD symptoms, and I wasn't able to wind down all weekend.
I've been having a constant fight-or-flight reflex for the past 3 days, but there's nothing to fight or flee from.
Instead of treating my intense joint pain, I just got prescribed an app with streching exercises. Thanks for nothing.
What do you suspect could be the problem? How are your stress levels? How is your microbiome? Do you sleep well? Do you eat well?
Injury Related, Bad, Bad, No, No.
Well…in parallel to whatever treatment, you could slowly work on those. They really help in recovery. Inflammation can make joints more painful. For sleep, what I did was, slowly change attitude to whatever causes the stress, take magnesium bisglycinate before bed, not eat a few hours before bed, use some relaxing music and meditation, go for walks outside. I always ate healthy, so that it easy for me, but you can start making small changes incremental. Bad sleep makes you crave junk food. For microbiome, I started making my own kefir and kimchi. I also followed some protocols from Dr Wiliam Davis book: Super Gut. That is how I cured my SIBO. Recently, I introduced more iodine, and that helped me even more with the sleep.
