I can't understand this I think I'm dumb please someone explain, also I'm french so I might be missing information
The doctor is asking if they did their physical therapy exercises. The guy lies and said he did, then admits to it being a lie.
I'm French and I can tell you, there is no language barrier here. The jokes in Strange Planet are based on taking situations from common life and placing it in a civilisation that talks weird and in a very literal fashion.
