I posed this question in the SXC room and thought I'd ask again here-

Do you ever use your wonder picks for cards you plan to trade away?

The other day I saw multiple picks with popular full arts as 2 of the 5 available cards and I was very tempted to spend some of my tokens to try for them even though I already have them. What's your strat? Are you using them to complete the Dex, build decks, to accumulate powerful cards, or something else?

Mostly going for missing dex, rarely when I need a 2nd of a meta relevant card

I've never even thought of that, since the trade tokens are so expensive and I'm not sure I have enough cards to burn. I think there's almost always something I haven't got yet in wonder pick, so I just go for those for dex completion.

I try to mainly go for Full Arts or EXs that I want.

Hopefully I can get a missing ♦️♦️rare, but usually I have to craft/trade those.

Since trading launched I feel less pressure to use Wonder Picks for cards that aren't extremely rare. Basically if it can be traded for then I'm not usually using Wonder Picks for it because presumably at some point I'll be able to get one through trading.

Maybe my approach will change when the change to Shinedust as the trade currency goes live. Right now Wonder Picks are the only way we can acquire high rarity cards without pulling them ourselves, so that's what I prioritize.
