The conservatives will be bad for Canada with the current situation in the US, this should be obvious to everyone right now.

The problem is, half of the cons supporters also idolize trump. They look at the state of things down there and think "that's what Canada needs"

While Mark Carney announces he wants to create an alliance to work together with other countries, the cons invite the guy who's basically responsible for coming up with the plan that created all this discord between Canada and the U-S and this whole economic meltdown.

If this isn't a sign the cons don't work for Canada, but for Trump, I don't know what is.

I miss boring Canadian politics. I have never felt a sense of a Canadian election being so consequential before. The movement that has captured the US is genuinely dangerous, and if it captures Canada too, it's going to take us fully along for the ride.
